ABOUT ABOUT

Come escape to the mountains with your doula sisters in a weekend designed to restore and nurture your wild, feminine soul.  Surrounded yourself with your Mother (Nature) and your tribe of sisters during this (often too rare) opportunity to let go of the daily grind and reconnect with you.

This year’s retreat will be held at the beautiful Bear Trap Lodge just a few miles from Salt Lake City, up Big Cottonwood Canyon. The lodge has access to internet and cell service to keep you on call doulas in the loop. (For more info visit www.beartraplodge.com)

In an effort to meet everyone's unique needs we have three different attendance options available:

  • Saturday Only: 9:00am - 6:00pm. This is basically the standard day long retreat you are used to. It includes a continental breakfast, activities, and presentations with breaks for socializing, snacks and a potluck lunch.
  • Friday to Saturday: 6:00pm Friday - 6:00pm Saturday. This option includes an overnight in the cabin. Take advantage of a night away and enjoy some extra programming in the evening and morningin addition to all the ammenities the cabin has to offer: Hot tub, sauna, game room, fire pit, hiking, giggling birth-workers etc. Hair braiding and bra-freezing optional.
  • Friday to Sunday 6:00pm Friday to 10:00am Sunday. Why run away for just one night when you can stay two? Add an additional night for half the cost and twice the time to choose your own adventure.
